Beschreibung
The FMG500 Series flowmeter uses Faraday’s Law of electromagnetic induction to measure the process flow. The device consists of two units: a detector, through which the fluid to be measured flows and in which low-level signals proportional to flow rates are obtained, and a converter, which supplies excitation current to the detector. This amplifies the signals from the detector, converting the signals into a 4 to 20 mAdc current signal. Equipped with a multi-functional converter and noise-suppression circuit, the FMG500 has a high tolerance to noise, providing a stable output for slurry fluid measurements. Infrared switches enable converter parameter setting without removing the cover. Flow direction can be set in either way. The FMG500 Series also has an 128 x 128 dot matrix LCD display which can be rotated to 90, 180 and 270 degrees by software. They are available in pipe sizes from 13 to 406 mm (1/2 to 16") to accommodate many materials, including chemicals, corrosives, foods, pulp, and other solid-matter slurry flows.
