Add the speed and power of these synchronous PCMCIA cards to your notebook or laptop computer and you’ll have the perfect mobile development system. Two models are available, either RS-232 or RS-422/485/530 communications interface, giving you a versatility unmatched by other PCMCIA cards. These cards are based on a single-channel Zilog 85230 SCC (serial communications controller) capable of providing data rates in excess of 200 Kbps/ sec. Use these cards for 56K and 64 Kbps/sec applications using HDLC, SDLC, X.25, BISYNC, and MONOSYNC. The software utilities included with the card will get you up and running very quickly and provide programming examples to lessen development time. Both PCMCIA cards include a high-quality interface cable that terminates in a DB-25P connector.
